HAPPY FATHER'S DAY, MOM!

God bless you single mothers for your strength and commitment to your roles as 'fathers and mothers'.

To you who have never experienced a father's voice.
Those whose fathers left home and never came back; those who witnessed mummy cry every night; those who have had to face his disappointments and to go the journey alone; to you I appreciate your strength today.

You are the reason why we are children to the Almighty Father not by 'natural birth'.

You are the reason why a carpenter qualified to father Jesus Christ; that you may understand that your greatest father may be found out of 'blood'.

Another voice plays the father role (possibly the voice of a woman) in your life because 'Biology' has limitations.  If Biology would be important in the 'Father Process', God would be married!

Just embrace the father given you- he's sure not the obvious (and that is why Herod did not qualify to father Christ). He's the one you need to 'observe' to see. He's a mentor, he's a friend, he's an enemy (after all we overcome evil with good), he's a neighbour, he's in church, he's there on the streets!

After all a father is neither an anchor to hold us back, nor a sail to take us there, but a guiding light whose love shows us the way and God only does this the best!
