A LEADER AT LAST (Poetry Expression)

I have been called today to lead,

And now my ‘me’ has changed to ‘we’

 “We will...we shall...we do believe”

In dark or dusk I ought to see

To be the lead I’m called to be.



I have been called today to love

My needs their needs would stand above

The rich, the poor I’ll bridge the gap

And bring the joy the Lord would have

To all I lead in deepest love


I have been called today to serve

At birth I heard my Lord declare,

The world is messed so you are here

The shepherd cloak you have to wear

To guide, to care, to quench the fear

And bare the pain they’ll want to share

With you in tears which mean despair

#1 HABITS

 Don't tell me you want wisdom if you no nothing about Solomon,

Don't tell me you want to start something if you've not read the whole Genesis,

Don't tell me you love Jesus if you've never won a soul,

Don't tell me you want a fruitful day if you don't start with the Holy Spirit.

Even the disciples who stayed at His feet did not move until they encountered the Holy Spirit.

Your habits are speaking the loudest everyday.

Thank God you have the power to model the exact future you want.

In the end however, you will always get exactly what your habits have created.

THE STORM

When life brings you a storm, your ship will start to shake.
Let faith remain unshaken.

But always pause to check,
the 'who' who sleeps on deck.

Be it Jesus or Jonah,
each one you'd find asleep.

Jonah will be the problem.
Jesus will be the answer.

Jonah you have to throw out. Jesus you have to call in!

Keep faith alive!

THE WORST OF TIME...THE BEST OF TIME

I used to climb the tree to see my Saviour....today I sit with Him with grace and favour.

I used to love the titles and leave my bible...today I love my bible and be the titles.

I used to hope to pray someday....today, I don’t delay my faith to pray..

I used to wonder why....today I wonder why not.

I used to rather cry...today would rather cry not.

I used to want to see the change indeed...today I be the change the world would need.

I used to hide the night, my sins in sight...today I smile with light under His might.

I used to search a perfect friend to be with; today It is His Holy Spirit.

I used to fight or plead to see...today I greet and grin and get a seat.

I used to bounce the ball watching my church...today I sit in church watching His mighty court.

I used to want to go to Sweden...today my passport says it’s Heaven.

IN LOVE WITH TWO...

THE BIBLE IS THE INSPIRED WORD OF GOD

I’m in love friends, I'm in love with two
One is Grace, the other is Mercy

Grace is sweet and undeniably beautiful with a terabyte capacity to accommodate my 'unreasonable' dreams
Mercy has the tenderness of a dissipating cloud
and the memory of a week old royal baby; forgetting my every wrong in the name of
"Let us grow together Prince"

Mercy I turn to when the world refuses me forgiveness.
Grace the mirror to my inadequacy; the hidden secret to my success stories.

A million times have Grace laughed and held me at the failure of my strength,
in my desperation to enter every phone booth; and come out as Superman!

A million times more have Mercy taken my lashes and cried my cries. With a heart feathery soft, more lighter than a snowflake, Mercy would harmonize my '*wayomic' flaws.

"Remember when any time you went to school with your home work undone, teacher would not turn up? ", Grace would say. "That was a typical me at work. Doing what I loved to do best; take care of the 'stubborn' you."

Mercy's favorite quote, "There's nothing like 'Waste' Prince. We call it so because we are blinded to its potential benefits. If only we understood Forgiveness."

I know you will marry one person. I will not!

I am settling down with three: Grace, Mercy and one wonderful 'lady

No, It really has nothing to do with the landlord I met in Wa (who by the way is married to six women).
I am fulfilling the underlying Principle of Trinity; where 1+1+1= 1

After all Mercy follows me forever (Psalm 23:6) and Grace saved me from destruction (Ephesians 2:8-9).
And as for the third one, she has one of my bone (some of my solutions)...and I will need that bone back! (Genesis 2: 22-23).

Grace and Mercy have taught me lessons; God and us are on the same side.
We are not looking for something God is keeping away from us. We are actually in pursuit for our truest self what God had tailor-made before our birth. (Jeremiah 1:5)

From our first day of meeting Grace gave me a future, Mercy granted me hope in a letter  addressed
'Jeremiah 29:11'

I am sure you have received likewise this letter.
Really? You need something in addition?
Reply your letter! (Philippians 4:6)

...AND YOU SHALL KNOW THE TRUTH: VICTORY!

The Season shall not stop us; victory cometh from our Lord at all times.

If you are waiting for the rain to seize before planting,

you may wait forever.

If you need five talents to make a move,

you may as well lose the ‘tiny little one’ you despise.

Moses was appointed by God to go face a King

whose heart had been hardened in advance by God Himself.  (Exodus 4:21)

More than Superman, he was well equipped on an assignment (Purpose) to rescue God’s people.

Yet not even God would watch him walk into Pharaoh's castle and walk out “Hey, that was easy!”

Be as anointed as Jesus after the 40 day fast;

resistance will hit hard to ‘try’ to keep you from floating! 

Resistance reveals the ultimate love of God.

It is what will shut the doors of your friends and family to the help you so much need.

It is what will keep others from feeling the pain you go through.

Good news is,  it is what leaves you with no options but to trust. That is when God steps in;  that nobody (not even you) may attribute the glory of your success to himself.

We are comforted in His spoken word that by 10th round,

we may be ‘sweating’ but not in vain; rather in line receiving the winning trophy. ( Job 8:7)

Great is the One in whom we’ve put our trust. Pursue family…only pursuit in resistance rewards.
