GOD OF MERCY...UM...I MEAN MESSI ( BARCELONA)

I do not know how long you have been training but guess what?

Lionel Messi's baby boy had a standby team when in his mother's womb! In is breastfeeding and diaper moments, the little 'teletubby' signed his first football contract. How old was he? TWO WEEKS!

Surprised? Don't be...his daddy is the 'besssst' footballer in the world!

Then the TRUTH is revealed- Children of GOD, your price for glory has already been 'Christ' paid. Period!
Your architectural circumnavigation to the future is only a mirage.

It has no bolts and will not stand the rainy days. The Bible elaborates wonderfully, "Except the Lord shall build the house..."
(Psalm 127:1)

Family is a treasure, Training is important, Holiness is crucial, Money is fundamental, Education is key but I put it to you today: Your SUCCESS will never be your 'sweat' reward!

When your Father is a champion, you are a clot with a crown, majestic in the womb and born 'napkined' in AWESOME GREATNESS! Hallelujah!
(Jeremiah 1:5)

CHRISTIAN: WHERE IN THE WORLD IS YESTERDAY?

How different is my indifference from the unbeliever?
What do i mean when i say i He is my Saviour?
Why does the dictionary replace 'sin' with 'smarter'

Where in the world is yesterday?

Somehow it seem that yesterday
the weather was better
the pressure was lesser
prices were lower
traffic was slower

currency was stronger
trees were greener
the atmosphere was cleaner
and people kinder
music was softer
marriage was longer
the world was safer and
Heaven happier

Where in the world is yesterday?

The way to go to yesterday
Is Change He sees i need today.
His name is Christ to Him i pray,
That yesterday we all embrace!

SILENT BROKEN BONDS

Silently bonds, strong bonds break....duties increase and give no room for friendship
but in tough tyms we remember good friends and call on God to forgive us

We've been swallowed by commitments so much that we stare at their pix and wonder what else has changed in their lives...we wish we were there to join in their best and worst moments

The ultimate question surfing in our minds..''Have we been gone that long?'',..a question we like to pretend is of no relevance..however deep within.we feel obliged to think of them even against our will and without their permission...in the end, we write them notes and edit it over and over again just to get the words right...the truth?

We have no clue why we construct these sentences...may be its just to show them we care..may be its to get their attention in a virtual world where good friends become strangers and strangers become good friends...

GHANA PUTS ON A SMILE (PAGE 1)

Written on Saturday, December 1, 2012 (Six days to elections)

The confidence of the Nigerian, the curiosity of the American, the discipline of the Japanese, the conservativeness of the German, the gallant nature of the Russian or the openness of the British all combined can never equate the 'natural log' of a Ghanaian.

Where natural log equals 99.9% of the average Ghanaian's ability. Below are 5 reasons (with examples) why the Ghanaian stands out;

1. Multitalented!
a)A Ghanaian striker ‘Suarezes’ a continent and a week later becomes a superstar rapper.
b)A flagbearer enters a laboratory…pardon me...a debate room; and comes out with a cough mixture

2. Invented Shortcuts
a)10 cedis is enough to take you to and back from the sun! (Trust me…through Navrongo)
b)First in line at a Metro Mass station, seven people after me get their tickets and the bus is already full! (Magic!)

3. Brilliant!
a)An unemployed graduate frustrated from a job search thinks outside the box. Sets up the UNEMPLOYMENT GRADUATES' ASSOCIATION and is now in business!
b)Police stops an overloaded truck and inspects the driver, not the car!

5. Accomodating!
a)Woman on first seat buys a bottle of coca cola and turns around to the rest of us, “You are invited”.
b)Accidentally stepped on the shoe of a macho man, “Oh sorry!” He responds, “No worry, you can do it again” (Huh?)

Kwame Nkrumah rose for change; first independent state in Africa (Something to brag about!)
“Let us call her Ghana”  J. B. Dankwa had blasted! Amon Kotey  got busy and drew the Coat of  Arms,
Theodisia Okoh sampled colours to produce a stupendous beauty; The National Flag.

Ephraim Amu carved the heavenly words, “Yen ara asaase ni” and Philip Gbeho presented to the us the golden lines of our National Pledge and Anthem.
Ghana was born!

A nation with uncountable natural resources on her soils; but her greatest resource not found in the ground for men to trample on.
Her greatest resource is deep in the hearts of her people.
A resource so affordable money cannot buy!
Yet remains the world’s scarcest commodity.
A resource to keep; with or without Dec 7th
A resource called PEACE

A short quiz before we vote;
Five representatives of each of the political parties were put in a room with their hands tied behind their back. They all feel sleepy over time.
How different will their ‘yawning’ be based on their party colours?

Wrong! Think again!

A ‘UNIVERSE’-CITY OF CHOICE

Before we ever stepped foot at University of Cape Coast,
University was just another big word we so much loved to scribble when a topic of the future came up.

The pursuit for placement made ‘sleeplessness’ our  students’ companion,
Yet the sweet taste of the ‘today’ held captive the burning desire for the ‘tomorrow’.

How we broke the ice?
He had done it again! The Man who called us ‘Genius’ before our birth!
The One we prayed to today. Remember?

Some say He changed the marking scheme;
Others argue it was the examiners’ mood He changed,
All we know is we were there!
University of Cape Coast

Like the skin of a ‘stubborn goat’ on a typical lip-cracking harmattan season, it only got tougher.
And planted in our minds our first moments of ‘’3b3fa and wa di agu’’.
 To thousands of other students, it remained University of Constant Confusion;
 To hundreds of others, it remained the University of Conscious Condemnation;
To you and me it remained and still remains the only University of Choice
The choice to live not for ourselves but for the common good of humanity; starting from our backyards.

A  deep sense of persistence granted us access to either join the ‘world’ or change the World
We chose the latter. Remember?

All the ‘trigonometric dichotomy of philosophical linguistics’ we were taught proved only one point;
That yesterday, our globe was our village;
Today our village is our Globe

Never did we realize that the most important lessons were not in the lecture theatres. They were lessons trapped in the monumental exhibits that stand ‘rain or shine’ on the soils of the land

The lady statue of Adehye Hall, with the grin of a well-fed vegetarian, in the silence of her ‘voice’, tells us how imperative Focus becomes in the struggle between persistence and pressure.

Symbolic of the existence of ‘frienemies’, the west African crabs of Oguaa Hall wish they had vocabulary
But unperturbed, they served the representation of a message that needed patience in deciphering.

The breastfeeding mother at Science Faculty, (we referred to as Mother UCC) stared in awe, marveled at how her stretch could still not deter us from gurgling down from her chest, nourishment for growth and maturity.

We learnt how much knowledge is still hidden from humanity; from the statue that stands in the central junction to Science Faculty. With a torch directed at a book in broad daylight, we had instinctively recognized the extent that words underestimate the value of Purpose and Reason.

Bearing the surname of my mother in her ‘crucify Him’ days (youthful days), the gentleman Casely Hayford only kept mute and communicated by a strong wave of radiating confidence, in affirmation of who we can become tomorrow
Then we noticed something unusual.

The FIRST gate of UCC was closest to the gallant monument of Ghana’s FIRST President.
Was it a geographical coincidence? How I wished I believed in coincidence!
Dr. Kwame Nkrumah stands with stretched arms to welcome us to the undeniable truth that ‘every one is a solution Ghana cannot do without’

These lessons (and more that demand deep thinking over these words), we cannot forget!

It is in the storms our faith is needed the most. It is in the darkness our light is most relevant. It is at the battlefield our cumulative abilities come in handy. We shall continue to persevere to discover the uncommon for Ghana; and for the world.

Today is future! The journey would have been the opposite without you. Remember?

HELLO FEAR

Today is your last Mr. Fear
We dare look you in the eye!
For we are ‘heavily’ intoxicated in the ultimate Presence of Christ.

Let there be failure; ha ha we are CHILDREN OF THE ALMIGHTY GOD
Who shall separate us? With what? (Rom 8: 35)

This is our Sword of the Spirit!
We shut you down now with ‘ship sinking’ authority
Yes the address better be wrong…u don’t belong here!

This is the home of Kings. People set for a difference; pregnant with achievement, ruminating on fulfillment.

No want is stopping us ; we are closer than you think.
And if you think we are afraid, think again!
Read the tag-“Coheirs with Christ"

We remain unshaken; blessed to be a blessing.
In Jesus' name. Amen!

LET THERE BE LIGHT!

Light is sweet, so welcoming. The light of the first day of creation was so And so is the light of today and everyday.

Needless to say, the warmth we feel seconds we open our sleepy eyes to embrace the glorious radiance of each morning.

Light is sweet, so welcoming. Light was the solution to the first problem of creation: a formless and empty earth. (Genesis 1:2-3).

It continues to be the only solution for the reconciliation of man unto God.

Bottom-line, light is Power, and Pharaoh (just as with Moses) will not let you go without demonstrating this power.

We are set at default to shine wherever we stand
And Like the first day of creation, our conception came into existence following the words
'Let there be light!'.
For God foresaw us as the only solution to the entangling problems of this world!

Light is so sweet, so welcoming. We are inevitable to the chemistry of this world.
And just as light begins the day, we define a future predestined for greater works.
It starts with us having a mental picture and beginning to incubate the architecture of hope in God. These pictures are automatically printed in the outer world of our environment seconds we build up confidence in the Almighty.

QUALIFIED AT BIRTH…AWAITING WORLD DISCOVERY!

Question: Nazareth! Is it possible for ‘anything’ good to come out of Nazareth? (John 1: 46a)

When the book of life (Holy Bible) uses an exclamation mark, then it sure is a ballistic ‘shocking-to-the-bone’ reaction. This was the case of Nathaniel, after being informed the Messiah is from the insignificant, unwarranted town of Nazareth.

A million times you will be intimidated.

But Heaven writes your story day by day beginning with the statement ‘Qualified at birth…Awaiting world discovery’.

Answer: Come and see. (John 1: 46b)

Gold and diamond make their way to palaces from dust from the earth. Searching for Oil may require millions of dollar yet most valued discovered. Wait on your discovery today confident in your qualification at birth.

To the world, a carpenter holds an unlucky baby in a manger; but before their very eyes was the solution to a broken world awaited.

That was Jesus Christ…you are next in line!

...AND THERE WAS LIGHT!

The distance between the sun and the earth is approximately 150 million kilometers, but it takes only 8min and 19sec for its light rays to reach Earth.

Yet it is this 8min 19sec that provides the Universe energy needed by all forms of life. Surprised?

Well what is most amazing is that the Light in you is more magnificent than that from the sun. It is the true light of Christ; One that provides you the ultimate gift of life each day.

We strive for fulfilment! We have dreams unrealized, talents untapped, visions untouched, ideas shelved for years; because of our belief in ‘some’ mirage of limitations we’ve set for ourselves.''
You are the light God willed into existence. You do not yearn for greatness. Greatness enters as soon as you walk into the room.

Now stretch forth your hand and turn every touch into pure gold.
Walk shoulder high knowing that your light source is far-reaching than that of the sun. Circumstances that pull you back should only make you stronger; never waver in your determination.

Do not ‘chicken’ among the chicks...your rightful place is the eagles’ camp!
To the world, what you say will be impossible...but you surely will accomplish to make the impossible possible!

Be Strong!
